Restless legs
Restless legs can be so frustrating. Can anything be worse than wanting to get to sleep, only to have your legs twitch at the precise moment you were nearly asleep? This has been an ongoing problem for me all my life. So I began researching to see if there was anything that could be of some help for me.
Oregano Oil
I finally found something that works for me and I would love to pass it along. I hope you will find relief too!
- Apply 1-3 drops of Oregano oil to the soles of your feet, and rub it in. Make sure you include the bottom of the toes too. Pure Oregano oil can burn the skin, but it does not seem to burn me, on the soles of my feet. Then wash it off your hands. It works in about 15 minutes or less. Then you can sleep. I do not know why it works, only that it works for me and maybe it can work for you as well.
- Yes, it smells, initially, but that odor dissipates.
- It works.
- One can always shower in the morning if you are concerned that you might be carrying this scent during the day.
Restless legs no more!
Oregano oil can be found online at Amazon.com. Oregano oil has many applications. What a surprise to find it would alleviate restless legs! It sounds strange, but this beats prescriptions any day, I think.
As you know Oregano Oil has many applications. Using it in recipes is one place I am thinking of. I have used it in my stews and baked bread, using it one drop at a time, due to its potency.
I also planted some Oregano seeds in my garden. The leaf is beautiful, the taste is not really strong in a recipe, but the oil is. I also put a few leaves in our dinner salad too.
