Leaky Gut, was what was said to me, by my primary physician. What? This diagnosis came as an utter shock to me! I had never heard of this term before. But something was not right, and my intestinal area felt achy all the time.
What is leaky gut?
Leaky gut is a condition in the intestines where the bad bacteria, outnumber the good, in our large intestines. The bad bacteria begins to permeate the intestinal walls, allowing small food particles to enter our bloodstream.
Is it uncomfortable?
Yes. You don’t know what to do for yourself. Your intestinal area becomes inflamed, to the point of you feeling lousy all the time. It aches day and all night, and it does it every day.
What was I to do?
My Naturopath did some tests and they all came back negative. She gave me an herbal supplement to take for the discomfort, within the intestines, and it did work. I began drinking more water and less coffee; this gave me help as well. Drinking homemade bone broth was also healing for the intestines.

Leaky gut is not only a painful condition, it is also jeopardizing your nutritional needs. When small bits of our food enter our blood stream, we are not getting proper nutrition! Food particles do not belong in our blood stream! See your physician and see what may be the culprit so you can get healing. Often it can be, a food allergy or even stress, causing this condition, but it cannot continue without seriously impacting your health.
